Vanilla cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp sugar in powder
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • pig fat 2 tsp (you can add buter or margarine instead)
  • 1 egg
  • rose hip jam

Using a hand-held electric mixer at hied speed mixed pig fat with sugar in powder and vanilla sugar, afterwards add egg and mix for about 2 minutes. Add flour and water. Knead the dough (it should not be too much stiff) and roll out. Using cookie cuter, cut out cookies and bake them until they have golden brown color. When cookies are baked connect two cookies with rose hip jam and roll them in powdered sugar while they are still warm.

Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups corn flour
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 200 ml yogurt
  • baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs

Using electric mixer, mix eggs  5 minutes. Add oil and yogurt and mix with tablespoon adding a rest ingredients slowly. At the end mix about 2 minutes with electric mixer and put the mixture in the mold for muffins. Put some seeds above. Bake 20 minutes at 180 degree.

Some times I add flex seeds ground flax seed,sesame and sunflower seeds in the mixture. Taste is pretty well.

Carrot Apple Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • couple carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil

Toppings:

  • quinoa
  • banana
  • pumpkin seeds

Instructions:

Carrots and banana cut into small pieces and remove the skin from apples. Add coconut oil. Blend all ingredients until the mixture is smooth. It needs to be blended a little longer.

Pancake

Here is my suggestion on how to prepare pancakes for tomorrow pancakes day.

Ingredients: 2 eggs, 200 ml milk, 10 tsp flour, oil, 1 tsp sugar, just a little salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, water, ( by choice cacao).

 

Method:

  1. Whisk eggs with sugar
  2. Pour the milk, oil and whisk few minutes more
  3. Add the dry ingredients and whisk until the mixture is compact
  4. Add water as much as needed
  5. Heat the pan over a medium heat, add the oil and cook until the both sides are golden brown.

Layered smoothie

Melon-raspberry smoothie

This is a prefect summer drink. It is so refreshing and looks so good.

The green layer is made of :

  • melon,
  • lemon juice.

The red layer is made of:

  • raspberry,
  • water.

Pumpkin smoothie

Ingredients:

  1. pumpkin
  2. banana
  3. cinnamon
  4. water

For decoration:  raisin

Procedure:

Cut pumpkin into small pieces and bake it for 20 minutes at 200 degrees. When the pumpkin is cooled, blend it with banana and add some water. At the end add cinnamon. Arrange the raisins  so that it looks like a flower.

Orange smoothie bowl

To make this smoothie blend orange and banana.

Smoothie is now ready for decoration.The toppings are orange, quinoa and blend previously  boiled spinach.

Put tree drops of blended spinach then make this stars with toothpick. In the middle add quinoa and add two pieces of orange and that’s is all. You’ll have a refreshing breakfast just in a few minutes.

Chia seed pudding

Chia seed pudding are incredible nourishing breakfast, it’s too easy to prepare and look fantastic with some seasonal fruit on top. It is nice to eat pudding when you do not have time for breakfast. Chia seed are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, so they can be used as a substitute the whole meal. They are the ultimate energy food.

I always soak the seed in water for 20 minutes and then i add the other ingredients like yogurt and homemade raspberry juice or i add some berry smoothie on top.

Purple smoothie

Purple smoothie has a magnificent color, it’s many testy dish and above all healthy and quick to prepare. There is no reason not to have one.
